THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF OAK PARK & RIVER FOREST is located on the second floor of the fabulous Historic Pleasant Home in Mills Park. On your visit you can tour all of Pleasant Home, a National Historic Landmark, and visit the Historical Society Museum and Research Center. We are at 217 Home Avenue, at the corner of Pleasant and Home Streets in Oak Park, with convenient free street parking on the side and in front.

Museum Hours: Thursday through Sunday:
March to November 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 P.M.
December to February 12:30 and 1:30 P.M.
Research Hours: Weekday and Saturday afternoon research hours are available.
Call for an appointment.
Admission: $5/adult, $3/children. Fridays are free (donations encouraged!)
Members are admitted free with membership card.

Take the CTA Green or Blue Lines or the village shuttle to reach us.
