Oak Park based Global Matrix Consultants has extensive experience creating,
designing and maintaining web sites on the internet since Fall, 1994.
We are devoted to Community Service,
and passionate about our quality of life in the Oak Park area.
Global Matrix Consultants has a selective list of quality commercial sites, featuring clean layout and design features, ease of site navigation, clearness of purpose and state-of-the-art web and server-side technology designed to meet the business needs of the client. Our long record of web sites designed and maintained on a strictly volunteer basis
include various Oak Park
Village Government Agencies,
tourist attractions,
and non-profit organizations.
These sites are posted either under the umbrella community site,
the Oak Park Tourist,
which received more than 5 million hits in 1998,
or on the web server for the Department of Mathematics
at the University of Illinois at Chicago,
as a community outreach effort. Our public service contributions also include extensive
web sites for the arts and culture.
The founder of Global Matrix Consultants, Steven Hurder, was honored in May 1997 by the Illinois State Board of Education with the highest honor in the Those Who Excel education awards program, the Award of Excellence, for his volunteer work with teacher training, and developing, posting and providing system administration for the Elementary School District 97 web sites.
