Description: The mission of the Chicago Sinfonietta is twofold and best expressed the phrase "Excellence Through Diversity": To perform works for mid-sized groups and to develop a multi-ethnic organization on all levels. In addition to performing subscription series at Orchestra Hall and at Dominican University in River Forest, the Symphonietta tours nationally and internationally, conducts educational outreach programs, and has released several CD's.
